Status update: My neighbor just welcomed me to my new neighborhood by saying, "Hey, are you my new neighbor? You're that BMW girl, aren't you!?" We introduced ourselves, chatted, and before parting ways, he shook his head at me and said "Driving a Bimmer..." I guess I'm known as "BMW Girl" around here. Nothing wrong with that...

Ouch, I hate it when that happens... what kind of croissant was it? Was it filled with cheese and pepperoni, or was it an average croissant? Hm....

thanks everyone. I'm in a splint. x rays again in two weeks. It's a possible Scaphiod fx, but now that the swelling has gone down...it's not quite as painful. (so thinking i may have just hit it hard in the fall-and its not fx)
I know I went to the right doc when his first questions were- what are you training for and when's the race!
They said no swimming or riding until the second set of xrays....but overall i should be set for Ironman Cairns.
We spent most of last night looking at flights and places to stay for the race...and OMG looking at the diff flights, travel time is 24-30+hrs with the flight to Australia being 16ahous alone. EEK!!!

Lol no worries I forgot you guys went to sleep early! Baby is good he's a big boy he looks like a one month old! And as for B and my self we are good just getting a lot done all at one time, I'm still sore from the c section and hate this binder I'm in

I've taken it easy. After the swelling went down- definitely not broken. Initially we all feared a scaphoid fx.
Start ironman training next week. I'm so out of shape, it's kind of embarrassing.

Update: hope everyone is having a happy valentines day! I made cookies, but sent all of them to work w hubby

Update: hubby came home with flowers and a great gift!

Update: I take a BIG important exam tomorrow. Totally freaking out. Think good thoughts for me!! I wasn't scheduled to take it for another month- happened to call (friday evening) and get a cancellation for tomorrow. I hadn't started studying yet. Eek!!!! Lets see how my three day cram secession treats me!

Update: looking for a new car for hubby, his transmission went out.

Update: I either failed miserably or passed. The exam shut down on me at the minimum number of questions. It apparently stops when it's 95% certain you can pass the exam (or 95% certain you failed....ut oh)

I had such hatred for the landscapers and their equipment waking my son early on. Not their fault, but anything waking the kid when it was so difficult to get him down was a target of near-homicide. Now he sleeps thru everything

15 minutes from family dinner for a birthday... I've cooked a roasted pork shoulder, roasted potatoes, steamed carrots, broccoli and home made apple sauce + gravy... birthday cake and chocolate ice-cream to finish... and I'm on the bloody marys already... hic!
