Unhappy BMW 325i sedan e46 2002 doesn't start

Please help guys. I have a 2002 BMW 325i sedan e46 that used to start before I changed the trunk completely. The only thing that was changed during the process was the battery and the charcoil Canister. After the changes, the thing would start but run for like a second and then would die. Thanks for your time

When you turn the key to Position 2, do you hear the "whirring" sound of the fuel pump priming the system ?

Yes the Fuel pump is making some kind of sound during the starting process.

If you got a response when using starting ether, that would probably indicate a fuel delivery problem. Check for pressure at the fuel rail.

Update. I did some research and checked if my MAF is bad. After unplugging it the car started and I could rev it. Could this be the problem? waiting for the fuel pressure gauge to arrive
