Post I need a logic 7 amp for my sound! anyone??

Ok... so after buying my car.. half way from cali to arkansas the sound went out.. I've checked the coils and even tried to do a reset. Then after taking it to a friend who owns a sound shop he said it was my amp. So, I'm looking for one at a decent price. All these on ebay, going for 500 is a big no way! But he also said he could re wire and run a normal 4 channel amp and go from there.. Has anyone done this before? If so, how did it work out.

I wish i could ride with the top down. lol.. I Envy you right now! but I'm trying not to spend that much on one due to the fact of how long the used one will work.. Does anyone know if the one from a 5 series will work? I found one of those for $200... ALso, has anyone gotten there dvd nav to play regular dvd's if so, how?

Do a search. I posted a few links to guys that rebuild the amps. I think the price is $150 or $200.
