Brake issues

Abs light on e brake not working and brakes spongy is this possibly just car needs brake job

The e-brake problem is unrelated to everything else, since it's cable actuated. He'll have to have that looked at. The ABS light could be the result of a faulty wheel speed sensor, or possibly a defective ABS module. Spongy pedal is usually the result of air trapped in the brake lines.

Regardless, this car needs to be taken to a shop and inspected/repaired.
