I actually just got lucky one mine : I contacted a guy who was selling style 32's and before meeting up he asked me if I needed anything else. He then told me he also had a set of style 5's he was thinking about selling. I went crazy, bought both sets and then sold the style 32's for a profit

The style 5's were in bad condition but after a winter of refinishing in my basement they are now in pristine shape hehe

Keep doing this on a regular basis and eventually you will find a set that suits your budget.

As I told you, I got pretty lucky lol. I paid around 700 for both sets and sold the style 32' for about 350, I can't remember exactly, but I think that's a killer deal.

Paid $500 for mine as you see 'em. Got them from a guy who roams the junkyards and picks them up one at a time, then hand refinishes them in his spare time.
I've got some Style 42's in work. If I like them more then the Style 5's the 5's are going up for sale....

Best shot is BF.C classifieds, eBay, or CL.

I have yet to see a Style 5 wheels at a JY out here in CA.

Your way out in LA and Franklyn there's a junkyard like 15 min from my house with over 7000 cars (my 318 resides there) I'll have to take a trip out there and see

He's saying the people there truthfully don't give a rats arse. Or most don't know what their inventory is so it makes sense just to go yourself..esp when they have so many cars. Hoping I can get lucky....

i understand that most are that way trust me i know. but sometimes you are lucky and have ones like I said that know there inventory and have primarily the type of car we have. the one in Seattle is called Aurora Auto Wrecking Inc they deal in new and used parts. I have gotten allot of year make specific parts from them. aside from them there is Campbell-Nelson Auto Wrecking but with Campbell nelson they are more of the go and see there not as good at aurora when it comes to there inventory. put I do agree most all make yards are idiots and don't know **** about there inventory let alone what a BMW looks like.

If you're searching for bargains you want to go to a salvage yard that hasn't a clue about their inventory. Usually if a yard is run well enough to have their inventory organized and their people trained they're also astute enough to know the market value of the part you're trying to buy.
