Errors in INPA

Hello guys I've been trying to fix a problem with my car and since I had INPA up and running I fugured I should do a error check on the car (my first time) I got a bunch of errors from different modules so I tried searching (on google) for those error numbers that INPA presented and nothing came up for any of them so I think I'm doing something wrong. I notice that whenever someone on here talk about an error it starts with a P but the errors that INPA doesn't start with any "P" INPA errors look like this ( 5F13, 5D75, 5D64 and so on)

Can someone show me how and where to search for the meaning of these errors? thanks in advance.

If you access the specific modules with INPA rather than a general scan of the car, the modules will give you a brief description of each error.

Thanks guys, I thought I was searching for the wrong thing. @ Piers1989 I did check the individual modules to confirm the codes and they were confirmed I reset all of them but the ARS code 5D64 comes back everytime.

If the others dont come back then chances are it isn't anything to worry about.

The ARS code 5D64, I do not know what it means, but if it still there after a reset then it means the car is still detecting the fault.

Do you have any "Dynamic Drive Failure" warning on the cars display?

You say you "opened the modules to confirm".

If you open the ARS module on its own in INPA then press read error codes it should tell you next to the code 5D64 a description of the problem (eg "5D64 - Yaw Rate Sensor Error") and any information the system was reading at the time beneath it, usually including voltage and mileage.

I made up the error, so please dont assume thats what it is.

Also bare in mind that it MAY be in german depending on your install of INPA.

If it is just use google translate on it.

No I don't have a Dynamic Drive Failure on my iDrive I was getting this a bout 6 months ago so I took it to the dealer and they said the ARS Valve Body is bad, at that time my battery was bad so I replaced the battery and the "Dynamic Drive Inactive" message went away and I haven't seen it since. With that said I went ahead and replaced the Valve Body and tried activating/initializing the ARS system but INPA won't complete the process because of this error I think. I'm trying to get GT1/DIS working so I can try that because I saw someone using DIS on Youtube to complete the process.

So all in all I'm not getting any "Dynamic Drive Inactive" warnings on my iDrive screen but that error shows up in INPA I think its a coding error because I read something in INPA about coding. Or it could be a Failsafe Valve I just want to be sure.

INPA does throw an error if a module is not coded correctly, so that is possible, or it could be there BECAUSE its not initialised, rather than preventing initialization.

I would expect a "Dynamic Drive Inactive" warning with a coding error (if it was serious enough to stop it functioning)

I just went out to the car and got a screenshot of the error, I'm trying to figure out if its the valve block, the module itself, or coding/programing/initialization. I just wnat to narrow it down or find out the severety so I can get it fixed.

Oh and thanks for your help trying to help me with this.

So basically it needs to be recoded, right? if so how do I do that? can someone with the same car as mine send me their file for that module so I can input it on my car and see what happens? or at least compare them?
