What would you price a S14

I know someone who has a S14 and he may sell it and i wanted to make him an offer but i cant find anywhere to price it what would you offer on a 90,000 miles 100,000 miles and 120,000 miles

it would include everything from the engine harness and ECU

unless you have an M3, my opinion is dont bother. can get an S50 for cheaper and they are more powerfull and more reliable etc. Of course, if you own an M3, then buy it for the sake of keeping the M3 in original ish condition.

but to directly answer your question with pricing, sorry im unsure being from this side of the world

1. Was the engine running when it was pulled?
2. Why was the engine removed from the donor car?
3. How was the engine stored?
4. What is the maintenance history of the engine?
5. Is it a stock motor?

• If all indicator point to a viable candidate to drop into a car with only fluids and regular maintenance items required, I would say $7K for the whole shabang.
• If the engine needs to be rebuilt due to a spun main bearing or oil starvation, I would say $3K.
• If it has a rod coming out of the side, I would say $1K.

By the way, the assumption is that it is a complete engine with throttle bodies, intake, exhaust header(s), ancillaries such as AC compressor, PS pump, alternator, etc.
