Self fixing 525i
How often does you BMW fix itself? Well I can say once
 I had a couple windows not working but by the grace of the ghost of BMW they are magically working again. Now that they started working I was able to trace the problem down to the window switches.

Not so much 'self fixes' but the odd thing I do has some random benefit
Disconnected headlight vert aim motor and a whole bunch of rubbish warnings went away Put a bit of rust treatment on ASC throttle/bowden cable, looked like it made zero difference to the rust, but a week later the failures stopped Last edited by bennyg1; 02-09-2013 at 03:01 PM.
