CEC Wheels Question? Need Help

Good day Bimmers,

Have anyone one you fellow owners every had a pair of CEC c881 wheels or ever heard of fake wheels being sold on ebay, very curious of this brand there's a price at 1800.00 for a set with tires of CEC c881 wheels but on their website their 849.00 a rim

should be a stamp on the inside, lots of good used wheel deals out there.

Anyway I can tell about these wheels I hope someone on here has a set, no stamp but the funny thing in the back of the rim it has their website listed strange, WWW.cecwheels.com

What do you Bimmers think about these wheels bottom line I bought them and one of them has a crack in them gonna get it fixed, bought the whole set for 1750.00 the seller provided recepit from a California Wheels in San Jose,Cali I even called them about the wheels they verified everything, just curious cause they sell each wheel for about 649.00 a wheel, so I was curious about the deal, but i jumped on it, I should have checked with you guys first on this. I was speaking with someone from CEC Wheels and this was their reply

From the pictures sent, the wheels look authentic. Just to make sure, these wheels were used and fitted onto a BMW 645i? What year? Also, what year is your 745i? The 22"x10.5 wheel costs $849/each.

Can you guys help me or advise me on these wheels and if i got taken for for the price and these wheels, here are pics and one rim with the crack in it, the funny thing i have never seen is that in the inside of the rim it shows their website and size and a couple other numbers listed, feel free to be very honest with me, i thought i was getting a steal still I'm lost know but the seller sent me his receipt with everything on it, i will upload that too

I wouldn't bother getting that cracked wheel fixed. It's safer to just replace it

1750 plus the 850 for a new wheel as that one is beyond safe repair. are they 22's or 20's?? My opinion is its a good looking wheel I wouldnt have bought them at that price. better off with brand new reps.

very Nice wheel design, will look great on your car .... but I wouldnt pay that much for a Cast wheel

I doubt if that wheel will ever balance out correctly, even if repaired. My opinion only. Too much to spend on a wheel that damaged.
I've had DENTS repaired without issues, but that sucker is basically busted!

100% correct. On a 3-piece wheel maybe cause you could change out the barrel

actually its harder to balance a 3piece wheel.

The damage isnt that bad, Just have it repaired....probably cheaper than shipping it back and forth with the seller. Im not sure what casting methods they use but any wheel repair shop can weld that. Sadly, The repair spot will be the strongest part of the wheel.

Ive welded my own wheels before...not something id suggest to a casual welder but just to let you know it can be done.

Those wheels look good man. Post some more pic. I would add spacers to them an I think it will sit real good.
