What is the production date? The 2011 model year went on for 2 years.......2011 & 2011.5. This info will help with pricing and it will determine the combox features the car has...........Phil

Make sure that is the production date and not the in service date. That time frame is right at the 2011.5 production line. If it's a 11.5 then my first question would be why was it at auction? Now it could have been a 2 year lease which would be ok. Also if it's a early 2011 car that could factor in the price (low miles for a early 2011). 57,000 is a bit high.......one thing to check for is the latest software versions. Get the vehicle history and see if the car was ever updated.........Phil

A convertable.... nooooo!

Just messing with you but... a convertable, nooooo! Ok I am calm now so here's the poop. Lots of people like convertibles, heck I have owned one for 33 years (it sits in my garage 360 days out of the year, then comes out with the top up the other 5 days) but they are just so impractical. In the case of the M3 convertible there is the additional issue of an extra 500lbs. of heft from the convertible top and necessary reinforcing. I believe that an M3 convertible weighs the same as a 7 series, maybe more than the already bloated new M5. A 335 will out accelerate an M3 convertible, though a 335i convertible will be slower still. THen there is the solar radiation that your skin will be absorbing, think of it like a death ray, well that's what my dermatologist says anyway, so you will want to leave the top up.

I am old and already burn up my skin, so I guess I am just trying to warn all you younguns to not do what I did and destroy your beautiful skin with sunlight. Oh, and don't get any tattoos, don't drink too much, or do any acid, or meth, watch your weight, get plenty of exercise, no unprotected sex, spend time with your kids (but don't smother them), spend time with your parents, but be your own person, and.............

All right, get the convertible, but wear spf 50 or above sunscreen, and accept that your car will be slower than a sedan or coupe.

Congrat that seems like a good deal if the car is in excellent condition & loaded with option. I just bought a 2013 E93 with similar options and love it. Put a hat in your car should you drive it with the top down.
Don't forget to check engine oil level and lube the top.

I just bought a 2011 in a E92 version. Same color in/out with an in service date of 4/2010 for $54k. 23k miles and new wheels and tires (I didn't like the originals). I may have paid a little extra but I absolutely LOVE this car.
