No. '92 is non-Vanos. '94 is Vanos. Won't work.

Okay second question, 94 replaced fuel pump and filter. Got juice to the pump pump works but no fuel to rail?

ECU won't keep fuel from the rail if the pump is getting power and working. TEST the pressure at the pump while by-passing the wiring and putting 12v direct to the pump. If you have pressure there, move to past the filter...in your case it's going to be at the fuel rail, since the filter is just behind the engine on the firewall. Incidentally, the pump will only run for a few seconds when you turn on the key. The ECU will then send power to the pump once it "sees" the engine turning. If your crank position sensor is bad, the ECU cannot tell the engine is spinning and will never turn on the pump after the initial pressurizing shot.

Great now no spark. What the hell. First, no fuel now no spark. What the hell guys i did everything for fuel line. The only thing left now is the ECU or CPS which personally i think its the ECU. Guess ill find out.

Let me say it again: CPS! It is extremely rare for an ECU to go bad, but CPS failures are common (and a dang sight cheaper than an ECU).

Ok well i understand that bud but y would i have spark one day and not the next? I did take your reply in consideration and also on my scamatic i seen how that worked. Is there a common ground wire or any sort of problem like that? And is the CPS located in the back of the motor were the bell housing connect to the motor.?
Scenario, The car was running a little ruff then all of a sudden it died on me. Was not getting fuel but had spark. Replaced pump and etc. Now not having spark, had exhaust fixed due to O2 sensor and hole in muffler. And upon a stomp test had MAF code on stomp test and threw 1221 which was o2 sensor so i dont know got me stumped. Also my scanner wont read the car back. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Bimmer App

Need help once again. Last time it wouldn't start (and run due to the big VAC line under throttle body on intake.)
Any how she is doing same thing after both CPS's replaced? She ran good for awhile than stopped. And wont start. She has gotten me to go bizzerk? Help please. Someone told me check all grounds which am going to try tomorrow but any other suggestions? I don't want to sell her but after she run this time i think i got to let her go. P.O just screwed with her to much. And plus i found another one i want. Coil overs etc. For a good price. And this guy seems to have done it right.
