Z3 Roadster (E36/7) Amp for new subwoofer

Today i changed out the stock sub in my 2.5i with a Kicker 6.5" CompVT. I purchased the subwoofer box for the HK system as i do not have the hk, and followed a how-to i found on here. Now the question is, what is a cost effecient amp with which to power the sub and the other six speakers?

Dont know about 6 channel, theres no stereo signal at sub frequencies so most use a mono amp.

There are many choices for this. but you should plan to purchase a 3- or 4-channel (bridgeable) amp to run a right, left, and subwoofer channels. Replace the door and kickpanel speakers with component speakers and throw away the rear speakers and mid-tweeters in the doors. Of course, you already have the subwoofer. Modern speakers and amplifiers are so much better that you will not be disappointed.

You will want something like 80 watts x2 for right and left plus 200-240 watts for the kicker. Open top roadsters need some power.
