New Ride

My new 95 540i Sport. Got it CHEAP, New battery, wipers; drove it off the lot and blew a brake line, but fixed that, and fixed the twisted seat i heard so much about. One thing i need help with; whenever i start the car some of the instrument center pixels do not show up, and some of the parts of the numbers too, they only show up after it runs for 30min, is that normal?

Welcome
I am by no means an expert but that doesn't look like a 540i "sport". Decent looking 540 though.
Yeah my display does the same thing when cold (and we are talking bone chillin cold). No, not normal. You may need to fix the ribbon cable.
