I've been having a problem with water somehow getting underneath my rear seats, and under my spare tire without any sign of it; until now. I took apart the rear C pillars (the ones on either side of the rear window) and poured water into the sunroof drains... found this...
![]() That is water pouring through one of the bolt holes on the driver side rear C pillar. I'm not sure where the water goes, but it shows up under the seat and then in the trunk. ![]() ![]() Looks like I need to run a new sunroof drain hose down there. Anyone know of a good write up and/or diagrams to do this with? I'm guessing I will have to pull down the headliner and should have a pretty good shot at the hose from there, but where does it connect to down near the fender??? We're supposed to be getting a lot of rain in the next few days so I need some help ASAP ![]() Any advise and/or pictures would be much appreciated!!!

Try accessing number 20, (yes , under the headliner as you suspect) it is the water outlet hose that connects to the drain line running down the C-Pillar. The line probably came off that outlet or your problem will become evident once you access this rear outlet hose and follow the tubing down the C-Pillar.
I don't think you'll need any more diagrams, to see where the hose ends up draining, as I believe you'll need to fix something within 2 feet of this outlet. |
