Grrr. Battery died. Maybe the left park light was left on. Gear box was locked in park (i now know how to unlock).

Will drive car today and find out tomorrow if its draw problem. Battery is 2 years old so that should not be it

Luckily i keep jumper cables.
Enjoy the pic of the yaris laughing at me.

Furball, check the electricity filter. They get clogged up with static and then your car won't start. The filter is attached to the positive cable where it connects to the battery. You can tell if the filter is clogged because the cable will turn red when back pressure exceeds 30 volts. Check the cable and if it's red call your dealer and tell them you got that info from a usually reliable source on the internet.
They'll schedule you in right away for an updated filter and cable.

The dealer, at least mine, considers battery issues to be emergency and requires no appointment.

As for the rest of your statement. Just wait until C2C, when I need a jump, I'm coming to you!

Don't worry bud, I got extra long jumper cables, and I read the BMW manual on how to give a jump

BTW, one of my neighbors dead pan looked at me telling me that his car can't give jumps. I wanted to deck him for that bold faced lie

Angry JUMP Start and then nothing...

My BMW was shutting down every time I reset the clock...So after a series of try this and try that. Vehicle was towed to BMW and 24 hours later...the answer directly from the service provider was: "Definitely not the battery. Its either the junction box, BSE or a bad cable connection." WTH!!?

Thanks for this info. I just checked and made an appointment myself. My cable is redder than Tom Brady's bum after that Ravens spanking last month at Foxboro.

I hope your SA goes all Rob Gronkowski on your head when you show up.
Say, how did Houston do in the playoffs? Ich vergessen.

Houston's loss didn't bother me.;Mm allegiance is much further north, but they didn't do too well either.

I should give the SA your electricity filter Spiel. Knowing how little the SAs sometimes know, this may be entertaining. After all, the first guy I ever had mistook my 328i for an ///M3. Perhaps the goat feed in the trunk stumped him...

Just be sure not to touch any thing that is marked "High Impedance"

This is particularly important on BMW electrical systems since they use high frequency DC.
