What kind of tools are needed to remove seat? Do we need to just remove the 4 bolts or more? After the work done, are the seats going to stay tight without moving on stops?

After work seats are the same as before. Just make sure before unplugging any cable from seat , Remove the battery -ve terminal and let the car sit for 10 minutes (minimum). For more info , I have attached the seat removal guide. |

to answer ur question,,, im running a EFX 300c4 , 4 channel amp hooked up to the factory speakers. the underseat woofers are now wired as mids ,,, The additional equalizer is a AUDIO CONTROLL FOUR.1i it works really good and gets amazing clarity on the factory system... i recomend it to anyone installing a system in their cars... the factory speakers actually are really good once u add a little pwr to them... My second amp is a EFX 500c.. one channel amp runs my 10 inch.. Cerwin Vega woofer , I made a mdf one inch thick custom bandpass woofer box with a 4 inch port goen thru the plastic arm rest cover thru the back seat.. that way all the sound from the woofer goes staight in the cab.. and sounds bad ass.. and the best part is u cant hear it at all out side the car.. untill i open the doors.... well hope my info helps u out

Thx for the details.
One question on non folding rear seats I have. How can the wiring can run from door sills into trunk? Is there a easy way? I am clear on front to back but not clear on back into trunk!

the only wires ive ran are from the trunk to the cab... which are the cable to the woofer controll knob.. the remote wire to a swith to cut off pwr to both amps .. and i also ran pwr to my iphone/ipod cable... if u remove the seat cushion there are cables running into the trunk on the pasanger side allls i did was pull the bottom of the back rest out alittle and ran the wires thru there. if u take out the trunk matt and the side cover ull see all the wires goen into the cab..

All the wiring / RCA's / Speaker wire hooked up. I guess should have ordered a little shorter RCA cables , hope this loop doesn't cause any issue.

Personally, I'd rather hear the "growl" of the engine that the "thump" of a sub-woofer.

I forgot about this thread how is the build coming along? Pics? Questions for ya what exactly does the mobridge do? I'm about to start my build I have hertz mlk2tm for my fronts a hertz hp5 amp and a sub I want to keep all my stock speakers that I'm not replacing running off the stock amp and I want to just be able to Intergrate the hp5 but still keep all the functions of the logic 7 is that possible and if so what all do I need? I was told a bit ten but then I was told a bit ten and the mobridge ?

Isn't a technic harness only for adding a sub and amp not a while system?

Hi , The build was completed long time back, forgot to update the thread. Adding Pics soon. Mobridge , connects to the fiber optic signal going into your amp and gives you 8 ch of RCA's with Fade and balance. It basically removes the logic 7 amp and gives you RCA outs to connect aftermarket amps. If you connect mobridge you will loose your stock amp. You could just get a Technics harness and connect that to power underseat woofers , sub. Since Technics harness taps into the underseat woofers you should be able to use the same signal to power the front Hertz speakers . Just remember to set the HPF for them on the amp( around 150 to 250 based on your speakers capabilities). It would give you better than stock sound but to get the absolute best you would need to add a processor like Arc PS8 or JBL ms8 or Bit one. I will be honest I did have a tough time tuning MS8 but once I got some stuff figured out , I was able to tune it to where my system sounds fantastic. Good luck with your build , let me know if you have any questions. Keep us posted with Pics |

Looks like there could be some room to install a 5.25" speaker at the bottom of the door panel...
