2013 F31 Residuals and Dealer Allocations

Now that the price list is out on the 2013 F31, are the residuals known yet? Any chance for Lease/APR cash similar to the sedans?

And finally, is the F31 initially coming out of dealer allocations? I wouldn't think so for a wagon, but I imagine there's a bit of pent up demand that may be cause for an initial flurry of orders.

Thanks.

F31 production is still a full 5 months away. Any discussion of lease rates is a bit premature (by several months). There usually aren't rebates posted until inventories have stockpiled, so no on that as well. There are lots of X1 being sold without lease cash, right? What is your real question about allocations? Other than a dealer demo, all will come from allocation as BMW cars/SAVs always do. Are you really asking about European Delivery? I am trying to figure out what you are really asking. Please restate your question.

But in the "MY 2014 Production Start Dates" sticky you wrote "... funny enough, there will be a MY 2013 328xi SW starting with March production that will only run for 4 months." But now you're saying it's 5 months away? The BMWNA pricing guide shows a 3/2013 SOP, so there's some conflicting infomation out there. Could you clarify when it will indeed be available? I thought it was MY2013 for 4 months and then MY2014 in July.

And yes, I should have specified dealer allocation in reference to ED purchases. But I expect it's too early to know that, too.

Sorry my bad. It was late, I was tired and mistakenly thought you were after MY 2014.

Looks like you're in the clear... 3 Series Touring is not on the list...

Thanks for confirming. That's great news. I'm sure you or another dealer will post the residuals when they become available. My local dealer is always wayyyy behind with such information.

And thanks for the great site. It's my top source for information on all things BMW.

Let me know if your local dealer won't give you the deal you want.

Often with a new model, dealers will try to extract maximum gross profit from even their best customers.

So it's feasible for me to plan ED in early September or MY2014 328xi wagon, right?
When I should order or I could order the car?

Jason

It is indeed. My best advice would be to forge a relationship with a CA now even though
the actual order cannot be input for a few months.
