1995 525i overheat problem head gasket?

It's def coolant. Leaking out between the block.

when you say "betwee the block" what do you mean? block and head?

Yes between the block and head to the left above the exhaust manifold. The wet area on the pics....is from the coolant bubbling out of between the block and head.

The car sat because I wasn't there to drive it. When I got back to it it started over heating. Already got new thermostat. Coolant is going through radiator through engine....and never making it back to the radiator.

not making it back to the radiator. So you think its coming out of the head gasket. What is the work you're having done? a head gasket? need to check for cracks in head

are you sure its not leaking from the freeze plug and running down and looking like its at the head and block

It's bubbling like there's air escaping from the gasket?
