unlocking problem after disarmed

So I have a 97 E36 with an aftermarket Autopage C3 RS-915 remote start keyless entry alarm installed. My problem is when I disarm the car using the transmitter the locks wont open and i have to do it manually with my key, but on the other hand if i arm it using the transmitter the locks will engage! Anyone have any ideas?
