Where is the crankshaft position sensor?

I have a 96 328is. I have the manifold off and changing what I can while I'm there. Where is the crankshaft position sensor? Thanks

The orange arrow points to the crankshaft position sensor. I got this picture form the pelican guide if you need more info.

my 97 328i's is at the front but its a uk car so maybe it is at the back, either way is hard to miss.

I cant find this thing. I have the manifold off and still dont see it. Is it easier to see from the bottom?

Not really. Not a good picture but its the best I have, its right in this area I circled in red. You may do best following the wire from the harness under the manifold to it but this is where it will lead you.
