Thumbs up E36 oval delrin carrier shifter bushings - $18 shipped for Bimmerfest members

We now have oval bushings available! These oval delrin bushings eliminate any side-to-side movement of the aluminum shifter carrier. These derlin shifter bushings fit at the front of the aluminum carrier so NO additional vibration or harshness will be felt.

Please note that this is our OVAL version which replaces factory part number 25 11 7 507 695.

Use coupon code: bfmsb to get the $18 shipped price. (sorry CA residence, we must charge sales tax.)

Cool. How does the improvement compare to the installation of a DSSR (also supposed to remove side-to-side slop)?

edit: Damn, just realized this is only for ZF E36s.

double edit: Ah, there are ones for Getrag trannies as well, http://store.garagistic.com/ocart/bm...hifter-bushing

Yes we do have both round and oval carrier bushings. The slop is decreased by quite a bit. Our testing showed that the factory rubber bushings get worn and can have about 10 undesirable rotation either direction.

However for best results it is best to be used with a full rebuild kit and dssr shifter. These are a good supplement modification.

Used Garagistic's delrin bushings on our shifter rebuild a few months ago and they're great! Also the ordering, shipping and delivery process were fast, smooth and without problems.

Out of 10 its probably a 7 or 8. Its best as a "while your in there" kind of job. Getting to the shifter assembly is not hard but a few items need to be removed to get to it. Very worth it though. The shifter will feel completely different when you replace those old worn soft factory units.

Man, I really wish I didnt just refresh my shifter with all OEM parts! This would have been a nice upgrade.
