Unhappy Engine shut down while driving

Hellow every body?
I have 2006 750li with 75,000miles. Today I drive arround 20~30mph, engine shut down one time, when the engine died, my wife has key in passenger side, I didn`t put the key in slot. Its can shut down the engine? I`m wondering it happen again.

well as long you have a warranty so if its anything major you should be covered

and if that problem persists then you take it to the dealer, if not then you just chalk it up to a 7 series glitch... happens more than you think

Has the fuel filter ever been replaced? It's a $50 part and not terribly hard to do.
