Trunk locking issue

Wondering if anyone has suggestion/solution:
Recently bought a 98 E36 M3; trunk won't lock when locking the front doors but all doors lock; only way to lock trunk is at the trunk and all doors will lock when I do this. Also the gas door doesn't lock as well as the pin doesn't come out to lock; ordered an fuel door lock actuator to see if that will solve this. Maybe I need an actuator for the trunk as well?

Check the wiring of the trunk lock. Seems weird it would be able to lock the doors but locking the doors don't lock the trunk...

Sometimes people pry open the gas door and break the pin (it's just plastic). Check to make sure your pin isn't broken before installing the new actuator.
