2014 production numbers

I have the production number for my 2014 X1 (order was entered this morning). How long before it will show up when I try to add it to my BMWUSA profile for tracking?

It takes up to 48 hours to update on the web site.

Well I have had a production number for two weeks, and still nothing. I'm guessing maybe becuase 2014 production does not start for another 3 weeks???

I have had a 2014 production number for a few weeks now, but it still does not work on BMWUSA. As ItsEd said, I suspect that it won't show up until production actually starts. I was told that I am confirmed for production on my 2014 for the 10th week. I believe that is the week of March 4, so I will let you know as soon as that week rolls around whether the 2014 production number works.

Dealer just gave me a production date of the 2nd week of March.

Well after production starts it takes up to 48 hours for the website and phone line to update.

What are the first few digits for 2014 production numbers. I should have my number this week, but don't know whether it will be 2013 or 2014. Surely they have to shut the line down for a few days to transition model years??

688, and I've had mine since January 10th, PO is in, yet bmwna.com still does not find it.

689. I got my production number on February 6.

689. i got mine on feb 22.

690. Got mine on 2/20

I'll play! 689 on Feb 5.

It will be interesting to see when online tracking is available and when these start coming off the line.

March 5 build date from the phone system....

Mine is "in production" with no confirmed production date.

My status changed from this morning to the afternoon.....looking for our M sport 28i.

Well I am 687, so I guess I will be last of 2013s...

Received following message from my dealer in TN. Appears there will be a hold on delivery, perhaps not production, for the 2014 X1.


"Unfortunately, this production number is a new model or new model year and we cannot offer a delivery date at this time. EPA and CARB Certifications are issued by the government and must be obtained for every model every year, regardless of any change (or not) in the production of the vehicle. The vehicle will remain at the VDC/VPC until approvals are received and all holds are removed. It will not ship to The BMW Performance Center or your BMW Retail Center."



Please inform your client that we will contact you with a delivery date as soon as all EPA and CARB Certifications have been received by BMWNA and the holds have been removed.

Phone system now lists a "completion" date of March 5, but I'm still not able to add to my BMWUSA account......

I was able to add vehicle in MyBMW, dealer sent status of 150 and phone system says awaiting production...

Just placed my order. 691 here.

689 here. Need to submit the PO.
Date has been scheduled, hasn't confirmed. Will wait and see how it goes.

March 6 production date.
