picked up my 2012 3.5i premium and went to swap arches
I assumed since I didn't order sport and my X came with 19" that I'd have to swap the arches for the 20" wheel arches. I ordered a set from ECS, took the rear arches off this morning and it has the same part # as what ECS sent (the sticker says for 20" wheels). Has anyone else had this happen? Not sure why mine came with the correct arches - guess I have a set for sale now...

Here you go:
Left rear arch untouched Left side untouched Right rear arch from ECS Right rear arch sticker (original) Right rear arch part number on original: 07163560 replace extended arch from ECS: 07163560 (right side)

I have a 35i premium Feb 2012 build and don't have those wheel arches.

looks like the flared arches were already factory installed on your car. weird that it happened.
good news is you don't need to swap your wheel arches. perhaps you can return the purchased wheel arches to ECS since you never installed them.

How does it look with the extended arches and the 19" 334? Does it fill ok or are spacers necessary?
