Motometer Odo problems

So I bought the Gargistic Motometer Odo kit. I installed it, and it still doesn't work. I spun the gears as I installed and everything was smooth and spun freely. I installed the cluster back into car drove down the road still with no odometer. I do not have the green plug on the back of the cluster but to my understanding thats only for cruise control anyway. Anybody have any idea why it won't work. I emailed garagistic still waiting for a response.

yeah it works. So last night I pulled the cluster back out and checked everything, everything is still good.
I bought another cluster from the junkyard last year. I accidently bought a vdo gear set up from garagistic, and luckily I did. I found out this morning my spare cluster set up is a VDO and so I replaced the gears and put the VDO speedometer in the Motometer gauge assembly. Im installing it before I leave work and hopefully this one works.

yes VDO and moto meter are cross compatible
