E30 (1982 - 1993)
God's Chariot. The E30 was produced primarily from 1982 through 1991. The cabriolet was the one exception which was produced through 1993.

4.10 lsd cost

Hi

I have a 2.93 lsd that is bad in my 1987 325is automatic and have to have it rebuilt. How much should I be paying for this and can I get them to build a 4.10 lsd and approx. cost?

Thanks

yes, you will need to find any 4.1 medium case diff, and if it is open, then get them to put the LSD pack into it. (assuming your 325i has a medium case too)

Will a 1990 325i diff fit into a 1987 325is setup?

its bigger than a small case and smaller than a large case :P

no, talking E30 specifically, a small case diff is only bolted to the subframe with 4 bolts, whereas the medium has 6. maybe google them to see the difference
