2013 X3 28i Break-in completed. My assessment as of 1,200 miles

I remember other threads on this forum about wind noise that was repaired by the dealership. I seem to remember something about some missing body insulation. Try a forum search. Demonstrate it to your dealer.

We have a 2011 X3 28i and we do not have excessive wind noise at high speeds (with all windows closed.) This is something that would definitely irk me, because I like a quiet cabin.

Another absurdity of the nav system: very expensive map upgrades. We got a notice asking $245 for a map upgrade. If it got rid of the dark grey background in cities I might consider it (I have no idea if it fixes that), but we're considering spending slightly more and buying a Garmin with lifetime maps and traffic.
