Rear Diffuser Painted Imola

What do you guys think? Here are a few pics of my Imola painted rear diffuser. Regarding how it was handled the dealer removed the diffuser, painted it and re-installed. Either way I hope this helps. Personally, I'm very pleased with the results.

Looks good to me. The black plastic diffuser is a deal breaker for me when it comes to the sport package, and is why I skipped ordering it. I think it looks especially cheap and out of place on the 7's.

Not a fan. I think you lost the M-Sport look. Now the bumper looks more like a base 6. Personally I would have painted the spoiler black to match the bumper, but I'm sure you wouldn't like that look.

I say it is an aesthetic improvement to the car. Nice job (it took a lot of guts to pull the trigger, too). You now have a 1 of a kind car until somebody sees the work and copies you....

Huge improvement! I painted the diffuser alpine white on our 335 M-sport vert after months of parking it so I didn't have to see its dark ass end. Would the non-M Sport diffuser mate to your M-Sport rear bumper cover?

Not feeling it personally. But I absolutely love that distinctive "M Sport" diffuser look with that kind of charcoal color (not a generic flat black plastic like most cars). IMO your rear looks more elegant and clean now, but it loses some visual aggression and might come across as more "Base" than "M Sport". For the record as well, I actually prefer the M Sport diffuser on the F10 to the M5 diffuser which is color coded, for this very reason.
