Roof Rails on a 2014 X3
Are the roof rails worth getting? I am getting a trailer hitch installed for our bike rack.

I've always thought the X-series vehicles looked retarded without them, IMHO.

I have the silver/satin roof rails. They came with the off-the-lot X3 I purchased, I wouldn't have bought them in a custom order because I will never use them. That said, they do look cool. Even though I'm not one to spend on cosmetics, I think they're probably worth the incremental $ just for the look.

its $175 (Canadian) to get the rails from factory, and probably will cost you close to $1000 for the dealer to retrofit them because of all the labor involved
