E82 / E88 1 Series (2008 - 2013)
BMWs throw back to the iconic 2002, with a renewed form and function. The smallest car in BMW's line up but still packs a punch. Available in coupe or convertible, powered by either an inline 6 in the 128 or the twin turbo rocket sled 135. |

I replaced all my (135i Brembo caliper) components
Hi Bmw 135i enthusiast, I am here to share my experienced to the BMW community and I hope I can help others. I like to drive my 135i hard I also go to the race track three to five times a year. Three years ago I burned and melted all my caliper components seals and dust boots. I replaced them with these components (135i Brembo caliper components) ever since then, I have been driving my car hard and I visited the race track many times and my brake still good no burned rubber or what so ever.

Pad option
Another option would be a set of pads from a company like Porterfield. Their RS4 pad is a cabon/kevlar pads that has good initial bite and gets storned as the rotrs warm up. The material is good at not transfering heat through the pad to the backplate and ultimately the caliper. They do very little wear on the rotors and make very little dust. I use them in my classic Mini's, my Ram truck and when the stock pads on the 135 wear they will make there way onto the 135I as well. There are variations of the RS4 pad so the guys at Portfield can offer advise.
