Wrong! 50464 is what I have and they are definitely sport springs, NOT race. Dark, metallic blue, same model #, etc.

Well I'll be damned!!!! OK, for a second, try to ignore the fact that everyone thinks a sport/no sport application are the same when it comes to aftermarket springs.
It appears that there is some confusion afoot (on my part and others)! When you go to the H&R website and you look up springs for the 540i sport application, they list the 50464 springs (what I purchased). In fact, it says this: Stage - Sport Spring Chassis / Drivetrain - E39 Notes - not touring Approx. Front Lowering - .75" Approx. Rear Lowering - .6" Part Number - 50464 Now, here's where it gets interesting. When you look up a 540i (non-sport), here's what you get: Stage - Sport Spring Chassis / Drivetrain - E39 Notes - no sport sus Approx. Front Lowering - 1.3" Approx. Rear Lowering - .75" Part Number - 29764 Stage - Race Spring Chassis / Drivetrain - E39 Notes - not touring, no sport sus Approx. Front Lowering - 1.7" Approx. Rear Lowering - 1.2" Part Number - 50464-88 Mine don't say -88. I wouldn't even wonder about that if the fact that the Sport springs for the 'non sport 540' weren't listed as 29764 and the pics show an obvious height difference (thanks for the pics btw). Judging by your pics Dan, I'm inclined to think that there really is a difference between springs for the sport and non-sport applications. Chris with understeer thinks so too. Sorry to get your panties in a wad Franka - I know you're getting ready to blast me.

I also have the blue one on my 528i, and I am happy with the drop and ride. With non sport shock.

The fender arch is at the top of the tire on the front and rear. They are about 15% stiffer than the OEM sport springs, the ride is not jarring at all.

Amazing thank you, I just wanted to know if this was the one for a 540i already with stock sport suspension. Also you think these will work on my sport 540i with 19" wheels? Hopefully it won't rub my fender

Your sidwalls should be shorter than mine so your diameter should be close to mine. My tires are PS2's, fronts 235/45/zr17, rears 265/40/zr17.

My sports were gray. H&R sport with OEM non-sport shocks.

I did the complete suspension front and back on my 01 Sport. Went with the H&R Sport when I did it. Since I did everything at once I really can't say what kind of diff the springs made in regards to stiffness. The back dropped about a 1/2 inch compared to the original sport spring. The front dropped a little over an inch. It accomplished what I wanted which was dropping the front to match the back.
Here's a side by side comparison of the H&R(L) & OEM(R). Scared me at first.
