Paring light Z4

Day before yesterday the parking light on the passenger side turned itself on (truly) and there is no way I can find to turn it off. I have been through the manual and it is no help. Has anyone found this problem and a solution?
Another problem I have had for many years is that the remote unlocking stops working every once in a while. I can open the car with the key in the door but cannot open the passenger door, glove box or anything else that locks when the remote locks the doors. Remotely unlocking and unlocking several times sometimes gets the unlocking working again but more often it takes a few days to right itself. Weather doesn't seem to be a factor. Tried changing to spare key but it makes no difference.
Thank you anyone who can help.
