Hey man, you seem to know what youre talking about amd we like active posters, but the caps lock amd "internet shorthand" make the posts a little tough to read. I mean no insult or flame, just things outlined in the "read before you post" thread. I really do enjoy yiur help amd insight

Thay price isnt bad and you can negotiate. Ive seen sets for 600 but no tires. And hubrings are like $20 tops

I bought a set a year ago for about 325 with tires from a local yard.

Congrads on the e90. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

just brought a set of 255/40R17 Potenza RE001s for the back of my touring. haven't fitted them yet, but should handle a bit better now. I think i might have to roll the gaurds to get them to fit but thats okay. what are you 540i guys running on the back of yours? (will also need to know offset please?)

already got RE001 235/45s on the front, had some crap Kingstar Chinese made tyres on the back in the same size, great for sliding, but no good when you want to put your boot up it on a back road. they were the other way round with the good ones on the back and the Kingstars on the front, but would understeer like hell. over steer much easier to correct than understeer!!

Im tempted to just sell my set of semislicks and spare ACS type2s they are on now, i dont track the wagon as much as i thought i would. too heavy. but then ive already got them now so dont know hmm. but these Potenzas are a fantastic tyre, pretty much the best you can get before you start getting into Pirellis and semislicks.

Finally installed my new headliner, a and c pillars.
I had reupolstered them sometime ago. But wanted them to be 100% before I threw them in.

However I went a different route than the norm.

Sorry for the crappy pics. Will take better ones before I head due south tomorrow.

sweet ride man. I guess we will now have a realtime full review from one of our own. Not some fanboy or stuffy reporter.

No mine aren't rolled, but that may be because its a 520i shell, the 520i's are different in a lot of little trivial ways to all other E34s. Ill probably take a wheel off and put one of my semi slicks on the back and see how much clearance i have with those, because they are 245s, but on the same style rim same offset etc (yes i race on ACS type 2s, im a hoarder

very nice, and manual too! not sure about in the USA, but here manual BMWs are like hens teeth if they are E46 or newer.
Actually the E90 is like quite a lot of late model BMWs, in that i hated them at first but have grown to like it. still hate the 6 and 7 series cars though. and the GTs. and the new 1 series. oh never mind.
but the E90 does look quite smart. but some of the early ones have silly shaped taillights, does yours?

probably. This was one of the first E90s to roll out of the factory so they didnt make them much earlier... What do you mean by silly shape?

Wow. Tonight while taking my mother to the store to pick up somethings for her trip home and I ran across a F30.
Mind you it's dark outside. I pull up to the traffic light.
The F30 pulls along side.
At a glance my first thought was... Oh snap. Honda done stepped their game up.
As soon as I turned to go into the parking lot and saw the roundel... I was upset.

seeing members getting new rides i had to post my new ride this is a beast it has a 170cuin 6 that puts out a whopping 72hp coupled to a 2 speed auto it has a top speed of 80mph that's right 80mph it has state of the art brakes 4 wheel drum non power same as the steering. climate control is how you position the vent windows and it has a kickass am radio that takes a few minutes to warm up....

Ol' Falcons. There's a cherry (meaning mint) Red & white /white falcon a few blocks away from me. The guy has had it for sale for a while. They rival the chevy "shake two"( 62' Nova) in size and performance capabilities.
Good score.

More snowsled pictures! It was a perfect day, well maybe except for the newbie we spent a LOT of time digging out. Before we went down and finished digging him out of the creek, I snapped a pic.... Lesson, do not ride towards the big hole. I managed to keep my feet dry but there are few things more uncomfortable than boots full of water in the winter.

I was tired of digging everybody else out so went and got lost in the woods, found a huge down tree to get stuck on and dug my own pit You can see that I have taken to strapping a modified grain scoop shovel to the back of my sled. Makes this kind of extrication go much more smoothly

I was going to have a day of rest today but if the boys are up for it again, I will probably ride, it was just too perfect.

I haven't seen anything, and I mean anything (even the nice 540/6 M Sports), on this forum that has made me more jealous than your pictures Sled

I used to be a dirt bike fanatic prior to my bungled knee surgery I long to be able to sling my leg over something with more than one horsepower (i.e., a horse ) and be able to get out in the wild again.

Are people allowed to ride dirt bikes in that beautiful back country during the non-snow seasons?

Man, I'm sooooooo Jelly

BTW, does your style off sledding require a lot of the knees?
