Question Body work question - front air dam z3

Any advice on cleaning up the dings and cracks in the front air dam. Took a little getting used to so as not to crunch on parking curbs. Now, years later, I would like it to look as good as the rest of the car still does.
Do I take the part off and drop at a body/paint shop? it is winter here in Southern WI and no go for a drive, and I would like to get this cleaned up by late April.

How to Guides on removal, paint suggestions, etc. would be welcome.

Body shop for sure, they will smooth, fill, fix any major imperfections in the structure before repainting. My steel grey bumpers were repainted before I bought my current car, the paint match is really good.

Removal is very easy, there are a few writeups, just goole around.

Do u have a carsmetic near you. They can repair and paint a bumper in one day. They do very good work and and are very reasonable. I am speaking from experience about the shop in Jacksonville, FL
