God's Chariot. The E30 was produced primarily from 1982 through 1991. The cabriolet was the one exception which was produced through 1993.

Wheels ?

So I was searching through Craigslist and found 4 17" 4x105 borbet type a rims for sale at an awesome price. Was wondering if they'd fit my e30 ? I believe my e30 is 4x100 ?

correct, they won't fit. but if they are flat backed you could get them redrilled. do they have the hex caps or flat caps?

They have hex caps but I don't know what you mean by flat backed ?

I think E30's have more space then E36's do up front. Of course you have more control of seat height if your tall or really short.

Sorry for getting this thread of topic. Real* type A's look pretty good on a E30. Might be because of the simpler design easyer on the eyes then some rs's and chrome.

a lot of people will tell you 17s are too big for an E30, but it depends whether you are in an enthusiest or ricer circle. here, 15s and 16s are the accepted size, anything bigger doesn't really suit the car. also we are more about period correct styles than Advanti 5 spokes or chromies etc.

but yes, you need something 4x100 with an offset between 0 and +35 and anything up to 7.5 inches wide.
