Hardwiring 9500ix from old hardwire
I just got a 9500ix for a road trip I'm planning to California. The problem is I currently use a Whislter Pro-78SE which I have hardwired.
The hardwire is to a 1.3mm DC plug. Now I want to make some sort of adapter that'll go from the 1.3mm DC plug to the telephone-type jack from the escort. I can splice it myself. Is there something special about the escort adapter, or can I just buy a socket and splice that into a phone cable? Even better, is there already an adapter out there that will do this?
