Clicking noise when you take off faster

My 2003 bmw x5 is making a click click click noise when taking off faster. Say I were to pull out in front of someone and need to speed up faster it will pop. The boot was torn on the drivers side axle so we replaced it still pops so we replaced the passengers said although it seems to be alot better it is still doing it fromm time to time any ideas on what it could be?
