Turbo Charge Kit

Hey y'all, I was thinking about getting some more juice out of my 2006 530i and was wondering what are you're thoughts on a turbo charge kit vs a super charge kit?
How much of an performance increase do you think I could be looking at doing this to my car?

Are you willing to be a guinea pig for this project, 'cause I've yet to hear of anyone turbocharging or supercharging a 530. Are you in a position to trade for a 535?

Initially when I click on the first link, I said ehm looks promising.
then the second link, tell sme this company is a joke. The second one looks like another version of tornado late night fuel saver crap. COME ON MAN!

Funny, before I got my 550 I was thinking of SuperCharging my old 530. However, that was a 2005 530 (M54 engine) that had more mod possibilities, such as ESS and VF engineering. The 2006-07 530's (N52 engine) don't have a lot of modding possibilities. Sorry Bro, never heard of anyone turbo'ing that 530.

so what your saying is I need to replace my car with something more adaptable to mods correct? Maybe when the money is right in a few months I'll think about it Thanks for saving me the trouble guys. And what models should I be looking at any recommendations?

Most bang for the modding $$$ is the 535i or 535iX ... by far. A $500 "tune" can give you 80 to 100 more HP. Spend thousands on upgraded turbos, downpipes, a big intercooler, methanol injection, and you can get power up into the magical 500+ wonderland. Of course if you go that far you will start to stress the tranny and other parts of the drivetrain and may need to upgrade those just to keep the car on the road.
