My E60 - and hello to everyone...

I recently swapped my W203 Benz to an '06 523i. And boy, am I thrilled or what. So, hello guys! And I hope to learn more.

BMW is not the first for me, I had an 01 E46 before, and I really love modding that car.

So my friend and I went on a quest to mod the car, and we also got into a photoshoot for a website.

The images displayed here are of my car, but the property of the photographer, of course.

But after the photoshoot, I took several stuffs out since I am planning to use this car daily as comfortable as possible, but looking as nice as possible. Will post the "daily commute" mod pics later.

So without further ado...







So the mod is M-tech front and back bumper, quad eisenmann tips (yes tips only LOL, sorry I'm not a fan of exhaust sounds - just loving the look), M5 style side mirror, front 8-pot Brembo with green calipers, BC Forged Concave 20", Hamann lips, M style trunk Spoiler, blacked out grille... and well I don't seem to remember anything else.

And oh, the Hamann logo is my friend's idea, not mine. I took them off as soon as the photoshooting was done, LMAO.

And what I LOVE MOST, is what we've done with the interior...





We repainted all the interior with black and red, keeping only the graphite wood lining, recovered the seats with Vertue Red Napa Leather, and changed all the linings.

I'm thinking of updating my headlights to the LCi version though, but I may wait on it as I have spent quite some fortune on this.

Oh we also have sound system too - but nothing fancy fancy.

I think your car looks great! The interior looks amazing in that color! I would only recommend changing your window trim to matte or gloss black...though it does also go with your wheels and exhaust tips,

Yes I am planning to gloss black out my window trim and also the pillars. So it all looks fluidly black with no differentiation in colour. My daily ride wheels are black chrome anyway, so it should even out pefectly.

I JUST added the smoke LED side markers, however Im a bit disappoint by the quality that I got as one fogged up inside and Im going to refund it or exchange it.

I thought at first the colour would be too bold honestly but when I physically look at it, I really like it. The red is not as flashy in person.

It is flashy, but the interior came out great. It provides a great contrast to the black, and the stitching work is REALLY good, great pattern design.

Wow, BlackBlade, that's an awesome vehicle! The interior is magnificent. Looks like top notch craftsmanship. BTW, Jakarta, Indonesia?? Where do ever get to really drive a vehicle like that, given the legendary traffic in Jakarta?? That must have cost a fortune, you have some awesome mod techs out there.

Gardis, it did quite cost a punch, but well, I basically live in my car, I drive (more like stuck in traffic) for at least 5-6 hours a day. So I want to make it as much as I like it to be to enjoy it hahaha.. The craftmanship is very nice, I was reluctant in paying its asking price initially, but a friend did his there and after a careful inspection and thought, I gave it a go. Turns out they didnt disapoint me. There is one thing I need them to refix though, the headliner has a loose spot on a small part at the corner, not a big deal, but it came (yes the interior) with a one year warranty.

And you're spot on! How did you know about our traffic? Im impressed. Thus why Im buying the 523i instead the 530, bigger engines here are rendered completely useless. I almost purchased a 520 instead but after some comparison the 523 is best for me.
