Correct & complete aux install

I'm going to try to fix the ask and logic 7 ...just need to find some time! As for the ipod aux , I don't have the adaptor nor software ...need to buy them and learn how to program haha but thanks for your help!

you can always have some 1 do the coding for you ...
& you can buy the aux cable from the link in my video description ,
or from the dealer

Doe's anyone know of anyone in Atlanta, Ga who can do the software upgrade to the MMI (other then a dealer)/

i just install on 745li 02 in auxilary wire,but it dosnt work,do i need to do something else before i install the wire?

Did you read the topic & watch the videos?
Coding needs to be done & you need a FaceLift MM & ASK unit

So I've been searching around for the link regarding the aux cable and can't seem to find it...is there anyone out there that can point me to the website or the part number for the aux cable.

Did you watch papers video? He has the PN on there within the 1st few minutes, not only he says it but he shows the PN on the box but Im not so sure if the part you need will be same as yours bcz of different year cars.

as you can see below,
it shows AUX function but when I select the AUX button goes FM mode.


Is it only work with ASK unit that manufactured after 2006 JUNE?
where can I see the ASK unit date of manufacture?

could you tell me the number of part which is manufactured after June 2006?

Papa, can you give some instructions on how and what to add to the VO when using ncs expert? Some one said you have to first ad +NAUX to FA from ncs expert then do the rest of the programming but I have no luck as it comes back with faulty errors and invalid entries. Thanks

Yes you do add +naux to the VO
& you need to code the MMI &
Set Aux to aktiv . You can use
NCS Expert to do the coding

Thanks for the reply papa, like I said I have an issue with adding +NAUX to the VO, no matter what I try it doesn't allow it, my car is 09-06-2006. The error message is: following feature is invalid for FA: +NAUX

Have tried removing the code for cdc in the
VO before adding the +naux ?

No papa, I haven't tried removing any thing, besides i wouldnt know which one is the code for cdc. do I have I have to remove it?If so what do I have to do? Please help me with some steps from scratch incase I'm doing it wrong, i Really appreciate your help.

go into VO delete the CDC Option from the VO . then write to the
CAS & also the LMA . After that go back & add the +naux .
after you have +naux in the VO , go back & add the CDC back
to the VO .

Then all you need to do is the coding to the MMI .
