Haha I was originally looking for an Audi Q7 but couldn't resist this 750Li when I saw it. Crazy how different the sport package drives; in love with both! Kind of afraid to drive it

Haha first off, love your rims! Secondly the good thing is that they are both covered under the maintenance package for a good amount of time! No maintenance cost for a while!

Hi all

live in England and new to this forum.

Car is a 55 plate (sept 05) facelift model 730d. Fuel is very expensive in England.

I love the big wheels you guys all appear to have.

Mini cooper in the background is my wife's, same year as mine (05) with 15,000 miles

It is really rare! If you look at the original window sticker, I believe it costs close to a grand extra to have it so that might be part of the reason. I've only seen one other with the same color. And thanks man! I feel the same way about your black trim. I think both options look great

Wow I realized it was somewhat rare but didn't know it was that much extra. Haha how many compliments/comments do you get on the color? The first day I had it I had three people stop and compliment it. Thanks, I just need to tint the windows to match the black trim (within being legal) haha. I was going to ask the BMW dealership on Sahara where they recommend. I wouldn't want to take it to just any shop as I read a lot of bad stories about the water leaking into the electronics while tinting.

Lol how long does it take to feel comfortable parking normally in a parking lot? So far at my school/gym everywhere I've been trying to park as far away from everyone as possible.

Heyo! New to bimmerfest.

Just bought an '06 705LI with about 40k miles on it. I'm planning to do get new wheels, tint, and probably a few other smaller things.

What ever tint shop you choose, express your concerns to the installer and asked if you can observe, bring you a towel or two and lay it on the rear deck. If they wont go for that take it elsewhere.

Good Luck

Parking a nice car in a school parking lot seems to be asking for it

Really off topic haha but, this is true. It's a little different at my school because it is a private school where it looks as if our parking lot is a Grade A Office building. I even admit it's sickening. Theres a lot of kids with nice things and then theres definitely a group that is not as fortunate, as everywhere has. The latter group last year did a lot of keying in the parking lot which is unbelievable. The school stepped up and actually started recording with the cameras and there has not been any trouble since. Still nerve racking leaving the car in the parking lot. There are a lot of bumper car games too.....
