Battery Question

Guys,

I leave my 06 in the garage during the winter months here in Upstate NY and usually hook it up to a float charger. However, I neglected to do so this year and the battery is totally dead. Can I get a replacement battery or do I need to go to a dealer and have it registered? I would prefer to do it myself but would like to hear your opinions.

Thanks for your help.

Darrin

M3 forums are super dead.

But to answer your question you can replace it without need for registering.

Thanks because i might need to replace mine. I would think that since my car is a 2003 the owner would have changed the battery out already. I never heard of a Battery to last longer than 4 to 5 years. But it is helpful.
