Secondary Air Pump
I have a 2005 545i and wanted to know if the secondary air pump is not working properly would that cause the car to hesitate before pressing the gas????

The secondary air pump is only on for the first minute after starting the car, then it turns off and stays off. So, no, it has no effect on throttle response.
