Satellite radio module?
I'm looking to add satellite radio to my 07, someone is selling a sat radio module from an 07 m5.
If I buy it will BMW be able to program it for my car? Or are they vehicle specific and only work in the car it came out of? Could I do it myself? Dealer wanted $1500 to add it to my car, for new module and all programing.! |

sat radio
The dealer can definitely recode your car to include the installed Sat Radio module. It probably wont be cheap, around 3-400.00 or ask around the board and see if there is someone local that can code it for you.

Search.
yes the module should work You can buy them on eBay for a few hundred all day long ($199 easy, I missed a deal on one for $140 the other day). Dealer can code car accordingly, or if you have access to coding software/cable you can do it yourself Does your car have sat prep or no? |
