Put on new wheels on my E60

Sorry about the quality I took these off my iphone, and also please dont judge my car being slightly dirty

I am running these Avant Garde M355 reps on Pirelli P nero zeros. Set up: 275x30r19 in the rear and 245x35r19 in the fronts. I love the new wheels and have received a bunch of compliments on them. I have no rubbing issues and this is just the start to my modifications on my E60.

I got the wheels from Modbargains and Alan was a great help. Hit him up if you need anything. He even threw in some center caps and M badges.

Let me know what you guys think!

Yeah they really do look great and they are a few lbs lighter than OEM. Plus $1200 VS $4,000? I'll take the former over the latter.

Awesome bro. Make me want to go grab a set. Just not sure of how they can withstand tough roads

I live in Chicago, our roads are not very driver friendly. Potholes. f**king everywhere. I've hit a few and it seems like theyre holding up pretty well.

My thing is if I crack or bend a wheel, it's going to cost me $400 to replace over $1000.

I just started a thread about my wheels/tires on my 2008 535ix. Is there any risk or potential problem with increasing the tire/wheel size from the BMW suggested 17"?

Mo, thanks for posting up the pictures and sharing them with the rest of the community! The Avant Garde M355 wheels gives the car a sporty yet aggressive look

Definitely one of my favorite setups as well on these cars!

Yes, the wheels are replicas of the factory F10 M5 wheels. Like moods14's already mentioned, they're significantly cheaper in price point. Avant Garde wheels are low pressure cast and they do utilize the same manufacturing process as OEM wheels. Definitely a good value for a great looking setup

The wheels are manufactured the same way as OEM wheels so they're definitely strong enough to handle everyday street driving. You obviously want to try to avoid hitting pot holes and other road hazards just like you would with your factory wheels as a precaution.

There are no issues with running a 19" setup on a xi model car. As a matter of fact, you can purchase a 535xi with a staggered 19" setup from the factory as well. You need to make sure that the rolling diameter of the tires are within a 1% difference. The 5 series xi also uses higher offsets vs the RWD models. The setup that is going to work best is the 19x9.0 ET35 with a 245/35/19 up front and the 19x10 ET38 with a 275/30/19 in the rear!

they've been holding up very well. They're a little bumpier than the stock 124's I had on there previously, but I don't mind. I like to play little games like try to avoid the 1 million pot holes on Lakeshore drive, while going 80 MPH.

Yeah i'm not too good at that game, as evidenced by the bubble I now have on the side of my tire. i am starting to think it may just be cheaper in the long run to get non runflat tires, from say Tires/Discount where i can atleast get roadhazard

Be careful on Lake Shore, just got clocked for doing 85 @ about Foster last week, luckily they bumped it down to 74

hahaha what coincidence. I got out of a ticket last week at Lawrence doing 85 because I sold the cops daughter a car.

LOL I guess thats his spot then, maybe thats was where he clocked me originally, i was @ Rec. drive/ belmont by the time he caught up, so i figured it was from about there.. Before them rims should come the radar with the way this city is getting.

Surprised you got out of it, talked to a cop friend, and he told me to slow down, as there are no more "warning" tickets as they need to basically pay their salary for the day...
I remember they days you could pretend any e-way in chicago was the autobahn, almost unimpeded, now its hard to stretch out on LSD, or any of the expressways

That would we're thin on me. I switched out of the 19s I had for that same reason. But must agree 19s look hot! Good luck bro. Ure e60 smoking!

I know I may be in the minority here, but I'm not a big fan of aftermarket wheels. I think the OEMs always match better.... BUT those photos might very well change my philosophy.

Those wheels look great!!!

Well done.
