replacment muffler
I recently picked up an '87 325i with a rotten muffler. I was pricing the stock parts and they are ridiculously expensive. With the exception of some of the brackets the rest of the exhaust looks okay for the time being. So what I'm asking is what generic muffler will be the easiest to install in place of the stock muffler?

theyre all pretty easy to replace. if you got a welder and a sawzall, you can make any muffler fit.
but any generic/performance muffler will need alil persuasion to fit.

Just buy a muffler, take it to the muffler shop and call it a day.
