M10 bolt up to e36
I was guided over to this model bmw for a question I have. I am currently parting my car out, and I have a buyer with an m10 in their car currently. Will my e36 engine bolt up to their transmission or no? Thanks

with a big hammer anything will fit
 i dont think its a direct bolt, but i never tried it yet alone researched it

Ok. I'm really hoping its not a whole conversion you'd have to do. I dot get why at least bolt up would be similar in all models though when it comes to engine/transmission?...

no it won't. they will need either another M10 or an M30. or an S14 or S38 if they were wanting power etc.

So would my engine an tranny bolt up into his car without any other kinds of mods to it? Or would you have to change stuff?

you would just have to change stuff like... the wiring harness, shift linkage, DME, Cluster, motor mounts, trans mount, subframe, Radiator, Driveshaft, probably the fuel pump
other than that it will fall right in
