Need help on an M3 choice

Ive had an E92 328 and 335 x drives both. I wanted an M3 and I'm ready to give my f10 to the wife and take the plunge. I'm torn between a 2008 E 93 with 7K miles (the car is like brand new) for $45K or a 2011 coupe with CF roof for $56k. The 08 still has 2 months warranty left so thats good but it has the old Nav which is not great.

What would you guys do? I'd like the idea of a convert but if the coupe drives much better I'd be willing to give that up. I need some help.

Is the 08 a risky purchase or no?

Thx

First, where in Philly? Lower Moreland 77/78' here.

Don't get a convertible unless you are really a top down guy. I live in South Florida now so I get top down time alot. The weight penalty is like dragging two 200 lb friends at all times. Storage is also compromised. But if you will use it and you are an extrovert, then a vert is the way to go. Don't buy anything w/o a warranty or extended warranty.

I'd buy the 2011 coupe. Not everyone will agree, but I love the newer navigation system/idrive.

grab 10 45 pound weights. spread them around the car. go for a drive.

that's the difference between an e93 and an e92. i love my coupe. don't miss not being able to open the sunroof or put down the top. plus you live in philly, not arizona

Coupe definitely. Not a huge vert fan. Also, the new iDrive is much better the older iPark
