LCI Kidney for pre-LCI F01

Does someone know if the new LCI Kidney would fit on the pre-LCI F01 bumper?

Many thanks, Lars

Yes, it will fit. Do you have the part #'s for the LCI grille? I've been trying to order the LCI grille for months, my friend at the local BMW dealership can't get the part #'s and the realoem.com part #'s don't list the LCI grille because all the part #'realoem lists under the LCI f01 are for the older night vision grille.

Which version are you looking for? I retrofitted night vision and ordered the new m-night vision grill yesterday. Checked the part numbers online from realoem, which my dealer double checked.

The LCI grille is thicker, here's a picture (top is the actual LCI, grille which can't be ordered and bottom is the night vision grille for the 2013 but is actually the 2012+ grille)

Nope, no night vision. The grilles I ordered are for the non-m sport and without night vision.

$160 per kidney grille but I got them for $100 each. The cheapest I've seen are on http://www.schmiedmann.com.

Type part number into www.furiousmethod.com. It will search about 15 parts suppliers and you can then view the cheapest store. I use this search engine all the time to save on parts. These grills can be bought for $75.16 each.

Americans are lucky, by the time you add shipping, customs/duties to Canada, it's some times cheaper to just buy from the local dealer.

Glad you posted that F01 driver! I was like WTF? I need to see a clear comparison before and after. And I was about to have my grill painted too. Guess I will snag this one first...

Thanks & thanks.

Install is basically a 5 minute process but I have a friend at the local dealer here who did the swap. It looked fairly easy and very similar, if not the same, as removing the grilles from the f10.

I'm glad to see that at least some modding is more simple on this car.
